About Peru

'Hello! If you're looking for a bundle of energy and fun to keep you company throughout this quarantine, then you're in the right place! My name is Peru and I'm your new playful pal! I came to SVASC with 6 other kittens when our caretaker was unable to provide us with medical care. We were all pretty sick (take a look at those before pictures) but are feeling a good deal better now! I am around 3 months old (as of 8/5) and am ready to find my forever family! I am your typical kitten and love to rough house, get into everything, and run around the house. When I'm not playing chase at 4 am, I enjoy snoozing with my siblings or playing hide and seek. My foster mom says that myself and my sister, Libya, are the most playful of the group and that we would benefit from a home that has time to play with us regularly. When thinking about bringing me home, please remember that kittens are a lifetime commitment. SVASC recommends that kittens go home in pairs; after all, we do best when we have a buddy! I'll be happiest if I have someone to play with and to keep me out of trouble. Please consider adopting another kitten from the shelter. My adoption fee is $55 to an approved adopter. I'm currently waiting for a home with a foster, so I'm not at SVASC.
