Little is a 6.5 month old Chihuahua/Basenji mix hoping to one day face Usain Bolt and take his gold medal. He dreams of being an agility dog or even a loyal running/hiking buddy once the temperature cools down. Little will be friends with anyone that has food, especially if they will share! He has done well with men, women, and children that can handle his energy. In his previous home Little had a husky for a best friend and wrestling partner. He would love a playful companion of any size that will never say no to a zoomie competition. Little will need help learning how to read cues and have proper social interactions with other dogs as he thinks any time is play time with any one around. Little has zoomies for days and will need a securely fenced backyard, big enough to show of his speed! He knows how to use a doggy door, walks good on a leash (when properly harnessed), and rides well in the car. Little will require training and may do best starting with a belly band (to help prevent marking). He is extremely food motivated and will be sure to do any trick for even just a morsel of meat. Little has proven to know sit, stay, and shake. He has such a big personality in a small body that he just has to talk about how good food is and how much he wants a piece of yours. He will need to learn manners and due to his vocal abilities, he would not do well in an apartment environment. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and vet checked. His adoption fee of $260 includes a free vet visit.
