About Sassafrass

Sour then sweet, sassy yet classy, makes a puppy that will make every day brighter! Sassafrass is a 3.5 month old Chihuahua mix looking for a family that can keep up with her! She weighs just under 9 pounds and still has some growing to do. Sass originally came into AZSDR as a stray and almost seemed like a feral pup. She would give us major side eye and snark at us if we would try to touch her. Since being in foster, Sass has learned humans aren't so bad and they are actually full of fun and always give cuddles. She is great with men, women and gentle children. Sass loves dogs of all sizes and would love a playful canine companion to bond with. She an active girl that will need a basket of toys and humans that know how to keep her entertained. Sass will require training as she continues to grow! She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and vet checked. Her adoption fee of $400 includes a free vet visit.
