About CoCo

Hi, I'm CoCo! I'm a 9 year old pekingese mix and I weigh around 14 pounds. I was owner surrendered when my family no longer had time for me. I've adjusted very well to my foster home but now it's time for me to find my forever family. My ideal family would be an active one who can learn my quirks. Most definitely a home with no smaller kids or rambunctious kids ( 10 or older ). The smaller kids completely scare me and tend to change my mood. I don't care for anyone messing with my food bowl while I'm eating so most little kids wouldn't understand that. I'm fine eating in the same room with my foster siblings and I take my treats so gently. A fenced in yard is best since I love to explore and help my foster dad with yard work.. ok it's more sunbathing but I pretend to be helping him. Hehe I'm a independent chick who comes to you when I'm ready for some pettings but I can be very affectionate. Belly rubs are the best and I will be your new bestie, oh I will also shower you with tons of puppy kisses. I don't care to sitting around on my foster families lap, I rather be curled up in my dog bed or on the sofa. Call me a couch potato! I'm dog and cat friendly but I do better with dogs more my size or somewhat bigger. I'm house trained and crate trained. My foster mom says I really don't need a crate and I do awesome throughout the day. I love being around people and everyone who comes to visit me. I just need an understanding family to give me time to adjust.
