About Finch

We want you to meet Finch. He is only about 8 months old and he is absolutely terrified here at the shelter with everyone barking. He is very sweet when it calms down and you go in and sit with him but when all the other dogs get going he sits in the corner of his kennel and tries to be invisible. Unfortunately we were told he is not housebroken but he has been very good here at the shelter using his doggie door to go outside. He is only 38 lbs. We are looking for a calm home for him - no small children running around and making his life more difficult. We think he would be an excellent companion for a middle age couple who just has occasional grandkids visiting. He does get along with other dogs. His prior home said he did fine with children but in this environment that might be hard to confirm. His breed is listed as 'mixed' breed and we aren't even going to begin to guess what he might be - we will just say he is 100% breed adorable. We do require a completed adoption application in order to visit the shelter - you will find that on our website at www.patriotsforpets.com - once tentatively approved you can come and visit. The adoption fee is $275.00 - he is neutered, current on shots, wormed, heartworm negative and micro-chipped.
