He regularly defecates in his sleep or while walking towards his dog door. He usually gets around fairly well. But, I suspect that he has neurological problems as he occasionally walks crooked and rigid and then suddenly straightens out like nothing has happened. He is hard of hearing but not deaf. Lastly, he has developed growths on his eyelids that do not seems to bother him but require wiping out his eyes once per day. He has always been an inside dog with unrestricted outdoor access. He is pretty good with children. But, cannot be 100% trusted unattended as he might knock over a toddler teasing him with food, etc. The sanitary issue in the house has me having to choose between my young son and significant other staying in my home or not. The situation breaks my heart. I will travel anywhere I need to deliver him to someone willing and able to see him through his natural life.
