This 3.5 year old Australian Shepherd mix weighs 49 pounds and has fluff for days. Leroy is a medium energy boy who likes going for walks but is not a runner or super hyper. He gets the zoomies every now and then, but for the most part he just needs moderate exercise. Leroy is good with other dogs (after getting to know them) and cats. Leroy loves attention and belly rubs. He also has the patented 'Aussie head shove' move to get more pets if you forget. He would be best suited to an adult family who is experienced with herding breeds, particularly ones who are stubborn and can be dramatic, like Leroy here. You see, Leroy was a stray who likely had never had a collar or leash or been bathed or to the vet before. He has now learned to walk on leash and is crate trained too. He is doing well with housetraining and has learned to enjoy the luxurious life of an inside dog.
