'Hiya! I am that soft-eyed, long-eared, Hound dog that you've been dreaming about. Tell you what, you give me a forever home and I'll give you love forever. I am a 1 year old English Coonhound mix that came to SVASC as a stray and was never reclaimed. When I arrived, I was very, very shy, but I am really starting to come around and get comfortable with staff at the shelter. I am a very sweet boy and will really make someone a great pal once I get the chance to get to know you. I am a lovely dog and really want to find myself a family to call my own. While I am a timid boy at first, I really do come around in just a few seconds. I am great with other dogs and really open up around them; I would love to find a home with another dog because I am so much more confident when I'm around them. I am also good with cats and am actually a little scared of them... hey! Can you you blame me? Kitties are pretty scary. I think that I would do okay in a home with kids too, as long as they can be respectful and take things slowly at first. My adoption fee is $125 to an approved adopter.
