About Major

LOCATION: Rosharon, Texas AGE/DOB: 4 years, 07/2017 (estimate) Major here. I'm quite the stunner, huh. I'm also looking for a new furever home. I'm what they call a Velcro dog. That means I never want to have my people out of my sight. NEVER. I want to be the center of your world (and honestly - I deserve to be the center of your world). What does all of that mean? I'm loyal - maybe to a fault. I would love to spend my nights with just my people while getting belly rubs. I would be willing to share your attention, I guess, with small dogs, but not with large alpha dogs OR MALE DOGS. And definitely not cats (ick). I'm so loyal that I will protect my people and my yard. So, I'd prefer a low activity, calm home. I have some 'Major' skills. I can (and have) cleared a 5-foot fence - easily. From a squatting position. Impressive, huh! I mentioned I never want you to leave me. I get upset when my people leave. And an upset Major is a destructive Major. You could try a crate - but I haven't met one that I can't destroy. I'm a smart Major and need stimulation to exercise my mind and my handsome bod. Me and boredom are not a good combo. A bored Major is a destructive Major. And my favorite forms of entertainment when I am bored are freezers and garbage cans. YUM! Don't let all that deter you. One of my best traits is that I am loyal and loving. I'm so loyal I feel I have to give you all the deets before you decide I'm your perfect match. Maybe if there's a couple out there wanting a companion dog (ME!), with no other large alpha dogs and not a lot of visitors coming by!! Someone with large breed experience and a willingness to continue training would be best. I have all the make-up to be a perfect companion.
