About Junebug

Adoption Fee: $350
Border Collie mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

This is Junebug, a Border Collie mix who was born in January 2020. She weighs about 25-30 pounds and will likely be between 45-55 pounds when grown. Junebug learns fast. In just two days she has started to learn 'come' and her name. She is starting to understand 'sit' and 'leave it.' Junebug is working on house training. She sleeps nicely all through the night. June Bug is hesitant at first when she meets new people, especially men, but warms up quickly (especially to women). Then, she is great at fitting her whole body in your lap and wiggling%A0in for belly rubs! Junebug is learning about the leash and is good in the car. Walks in neighborhoods are new to her and she is learning they aren't scary. She will become a nice adventure partner. She also loves to fetch, so will appreciate a home that keeps her busy and plays with her. Junebug hasn't met many dogs, so she can be nervous when meeting new dog pals. She will benefit from more positive experiences so she sees that she isn't in danger. A kind dog pal will be nice for her. Junebug has also seen cats and she will stare, though she hasn't barked or lunged. She should do fine with a family who is ready to teach her how to be a nice cat friend. Junebug is a very curious girl, true to her Border Collie mind. She likes to explore new areas on walks. She likes toys to play with. She also has a tendency to be a mouthy pup, and will need a family who continues her learning that mouthiness is rude. She also needs to continue learning that it's not ok to jump up on people. Mostly, she needs someone who knows how important it is to keep a Border Collie mentally engaged. She isn't a fit for small kids, but older kids should be fine. Finally, Junebug is a total love to her people. She likes to cuddle. She is eager to please and wants to learn. Junebug is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. W e do not ship our dogs. She is available for a meeting and adoption in SoCal. A home visit and vet reference are required.OK how are you doing right now
