About Gideon

This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN, $150 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Gideon is one great senior guy! He's a 10-year-old (or older), 7 pound Chihuahua mix who is seeking the love and attention of a family who can treasure him in his golden years. While he is timid when first meeting new people, once he realizes you are friendly then he warms up nicely. Gideon is good with other dogs and cats, and he likes being close to his person. He's crate and leash trained, but prefers the cozy and comfortable life the inside provides, over a walk or a romp in the yard. Gideon would like a home where he can be given lots of one-on-one companionship. He would shine his brightest in a home with other dogs his size, and adult folks who can be at home with him more often than not (no children, please). He came to us after his owner had passed away. Gideon currently uses puppy pads inside when he can't be taken out, but with a frequent and consistent schedule he will likely master house training.
