Meet Molly!! Molly is a foxhound mix that was surrendered In Alabama by her owners after she injured her leg and they decided they didn't want to take care of her anymore. At 6, that's really tough on a dog. Molly handled it like a champ though and sat in the county shelter until one of our rescue partners reached out to see if we could bring her north!! Molly's leg needed medical attention and she had an ear infection so we made sure those got taken care of along with spaying her and getting her up to date on her vaccinations. We got a 4DX done on her to ensure she was Heartworm negative and didn't have any tick borne diseases- all of which were negative. She is not in foster but Longs for a home of her own. Despite all she's been through, she's a total love. She wants to lay with her people and give them kisses. She's not crazy active but having a yard to run in would be nice. She does like to go on her leash too. She's done good with other dogs when they don't get into her space too much but she isn't the biggest fan of children so a home without kids would be best for her. If children visit the home, it would be recommended that she be able to be in another location. When outside there doesn't seem to be an issue however inside the house she's uncomfortable when in the presence of kids at times. She has been started on heartworm and flea and tick prevention and would do great in an active household but can also be a total couch potato. She is also microchipped.
