Ryder is a big 80 lb baby. He doesn't realize that he has disabilities. He's like every other dog loyal, loving, happy, playful. Ryder loves every cat and dog he meets. Actually his two best friends are mane coon cats. Ryder would like a canine friend to live his life with. That friend needs to be very easy going and tolerant and closer to his size. Being blind and deaf he can't see our hear any signals a dog sends him. He plays really well with dogs of all sizes. I fostered a 1.4 lb puppy that Ryder layed on the couch and gently played with and let the puppy climb and chew on him. He has a canine friend too. No small dogs in the home because Ryder can't see the little ones on the floor and will definitely step on them or trip over them.
