About Henley

***HENLEY'sS ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN WAIVED*** ***UPDATE 10/21** I can't believe this girl hasn't found her forever home yet! She has been doing fantastic with her foster family! She even went to doggy daycare and did great! This is what the staff had to say about Henley: ' playful sooo cute! sweet happy smiley fun-loving I had so much fun this weekend at Charming Paws! I made a few new friends and played with them the entire time I was here! Although the big daycare groups weren't really my thing, the girls said I do a lot better with small groups because there isn't as much going on and I can focus on just the few friends around me! I was the sweetest girl ever and got so many extra snuggles from the staff! They loved me so much! ' *UPDATE - Henley has been working with our behaviorist and has been doing great! She's learning to meet strangers nicely and has been a sweet cupcake at her foster home. She is so ready for her forever home*** Henley is a sweet, energetic puppy. She would make a great running partner. And after a good walk or run, she's very happy to curl up in her bed or on the couch for a nice, long, afternoon nap. Henley does take a little while to warm up to new people, but once she does, she's very friendly and happy to see you. Henley is house trained, knows basic commands like sit, down, shake and wait. She's very smart, so continued training will be easy. Henley was returned to the rescue due to an alleged bite. She has since been assessed by an animal behaviorist who recommends Henley be placed in a home with no small animals and no children. She gets along well with dogs her size. Henley is an awesome dog, she just needs an owner who will be committed to her. This poor dog has been shuffled around enough. She needs to find a home and family that will love her forever.
