About Finch

Meet Finch! He is an adorable male Pomeranian that is 1-years-old and 8 pounds. He is shy and timid and needs time, patience, and space to feel comfortable. Luther arrived at our rescue along with 12 others from a puppy mill. He is learning to live life outside of a wire kennel as a breeding machine. All of these new experience are a bit overwhelming for Finch, but he is making progress everyday with the help of his foster family. He enjoys the company of other dogs and doesn't mind cats, is learning to go outside for potty breaks, is adjusting to being walked on a harness/leash, and accepting love from humans. His foster family is using washable belly bands to help curb marking habits and prevent accidents. He makes progress everyday and is blossoming into a wonderful companion! Finch needs a family that will continue to be patient with him so he can gain confidence. We know it won't take long for this little guy to learn what freedom is like!
