About Sable

Sable is a darling 12.5 year old Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix who weighs 6.5 pounds full grown. Little Miss Sable is a dream dog. She is sweet, calm and affectionate. Her photos truly do her NO justice for how adorable she is in person. She coos like a little dove when she wants attention, otherwise she is a quiet girl. She is house trained, and knows how to use a doggy door. Sable is great in the car, walks well on a leash, and listens when you call for her attention. She is friendly with dogs of all sizes, but mostly prefers the company of human friends. She warms up to you very quickly! And then you are all she wants. Sable is great with humans of all ages as long as they are gentle with her. She's a tiny girl so she has a tiny bladder - she has to go outside fairly frequently. Sable does not like to be left alone and will make noise to alert the neighbors but in foster with other dogs she is less anxious and may prefer to have at least one canine companion. Sable would make a wonderful and loving companion for your family! While here with AZSDR, Sable received a dental cleaning and now has a goofy smile with only 9 teeth. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300 which includes a free vet visit.
