About Lake

Meet Lake. He traveled from Alabama to PA to find his forever family. He is a 9 month old terrier mix who weighs in at about 22 pounds. He has a black spot over his eye and the rest of his body is white hair but you can see the polka dot skin under the hair. He has polka dots paws and ears. He is a handsome loving boy. He is working on house training and crate training. He loves to be outside and lay in grass. He is getting along well with his foster dog siblings and the humans too. He likes to lay on the soft sofa. He has not gone on a walk yet because he is very timid around the road He seems to not have been in a home because everything is new to him- crazy things like doors, stairs, dishwashers and such. He is learning about toys and how to play. He has some weight to gain so enjoys his food and treats. He is UTD on vaccinations, HW neg, neutered and fostered in Lancaster. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
