About Buddy

Meet Buddy, he's just arrived from Alabama, so he doesn't mind our heat! He's a two year-old, 50ish pound shepherd mix that loves meeting and befriending everyone. If you're looking for a dog that walks with paw-fection on a leash, Buddy's your guy. He loves to cuddle with his human friends and wrestle with his foster fur brother, Toby. He's been great with young children who have visited - up close and personal.He is not timid or skiddish and seems to feel at home right away. He's quickly learned sit and we're working on additional commands and getting him housebroken. His very favorite thing is just being with people. Buddy is neutered and being fostered in Lancaster, PA. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
