About PLEASE FOSTER BFFs

BONDED FURIENDS TRAPPED IN SOUTHERN KILL SHELTER NEED A TEMPORARY OR FOREVER HOME. THE SHELTER IS FULL SO THEY NEED TO MAKE ROOM FOR NEW INTAKES. ABEL AND ALANA ARE LONG TIME RESIDENTS WHO KEEP GETTING PASSED BY FOR CUTE PUPPIES COULD BE KILLED ANYTIME SIMPLY FOR BEING HOMELESS. ABEL & ALANA met and lived on the streets of Colbert County, AL for a while before they were picked up by animal control. Abel is a handsome 53lb, 18 month old, white/rust heeler/pit mix. Alana looks like a 5 y/o, 47lb lab mix. Both pups are awesome dogs looking for a loving home together. When Abel arrived at the shelter, he was a little shy, but all the TLC he has enjoyed over the last months from shelter volunteers has brought him out of his shell. He adores attention and affection and he loves loves loves Alana. AND he just might be the best thing that has happened to Alana. He is her guardian and watches out for her and she knows it and takes great comfort from his care. Beautiful Alana is dying to be loved. You can see it in her eyes. For the first month at the shelter she wanted to come to you but couldn't quite make herself come all of the way. She does come to us now. Still Alana is timid but sweet and needs a patient, kind and loving guardian AND ABEL to help boost her confidence and earn her trust. She relies very much on Abel for reassurance. When they are outside, he checks on her. When you give treats, Abel often takes them to Alana because she is still to nervous to actually take it from your hand. She'd be lost without Abel. LULU'S RESCUE IS A FOSTER BASED RESCUE AND CAN'T MOVE THEM OUT OF THE SHELTER UNTIL THEY FIND A SAFE PLACE TO HOME THEM. LULU'S WILL CONSIDER 'FOSTER TO ADOPT' TO RIGHT FAMILY. FOSTERING COSTS YOU NOTHING AS LULU'S WILL SUPPLY ALL THE NECESSITIES; YOU SUPPLY THE LOVE. ABEL & ALANA are fixed and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. FOSTERING SAVES LIVES.
