About Tucker

Tucker is a male Old English Bulldog that is 2 years old. He LOVES affection and will paw at his owner for pets. He is great around babies but might not do well with kids that won't respect his boundaries. Tucker gets very, very scared and nervous when placed in a new setting where he doesn't know anyone. So he needs someone that is patient and willing to go at his pace. He is somewhat potty trained. He does have a few accidents inside but he tries his best to only go outside. A little training would be helpful for him! Tucker doesn't like other dogs. He gets aggressive (barks, growls, shows teeth) and there is a possibility he will go after the other dog. For cats, he can be calm but if the cat strikes him, he will get aggressive. Despite not liking dogs or cats, he does well with small animals. Tucker does seem to get more nervous around women but he will warm up to them with enough time. Since he is young, he is quite an active boy! He loves walks! A big backyard would be best or a family that enjoys hiking. His family game to play is 'race'. He wants to show off and beat his 'opponent' in a running match! Tucker does need eye drops twice a day for his right eye, otherwise his eye will bother him. He is a good boy and will sit down to get his eye drops. Tucker is a sweetheart! He just needs a family that is able to go at his pace and grow with him. Having at least one person with him all the time is ideal but he is okay with being alone for a few hours. He is kennel trained. He will be loyal and protective of his best friend!
