About Ceasar

Ceasar is a 2 1/2 year old Pit / Boxer. Located in Fort Worth, Texas. He is heart worm negative, on heart worm preventative, on flea / tick preventative, he is neutered, currrent on rabies, distemper, bloodwork ( very healthy), chipped and had nails trimmed. He has been to a trainer and knows how to sit, shake, speak and stay. He is leash trained, house trained and crate trained. He was abandoned, neglected and mistreated by previous owner. I rescued him and have had him the past 60 days. I believe he needs to be in an only dog home or one non aggressive dog other than him. I took him on a playdate and he did fine with one of the non aggressive dogs but the other pushed his buttons and there was friction. He has never, ever seen or been around a child / children. HE IS NOT GOOD WITH CATS. The vet says he is in great health. Teeth are very clean, gums healthy. He has never been fought or aggressive. Just neglected and unloved. When i first rescued him he snapped at a couple of people. Once he de-stressed he is friendly and lovable. He will go to new owner with XL crate, new harness and collar. He will come with his heart worm preventative and flea / tick med. Due on the 1st of every month. 5 months left. He has a new kong bed and toys. He loves to play toys ( by himself or with others ). He has never had toys or chew bones ( only a tire hanging from a tree in yard ) He is very loving and minds well. Say TREAT and he will sit still and not move until he gets one. He is great while taking a bath, either inside or out. He loves to get on couch or bed but will get down if told to. He is eager to please and will make someone the best dog ever. I have never rescued a pit. I was always afraid of them. I have fallen in love with this big boy and would love to keep him but i have 12 other rescues. Everyone says he should stay with me, because we love each other so much and I wish that were possible. Most of my dogs are deaf, blind, special needs or seniors. They are terrified of him because of his size. He weighs 74 lbs but is very stout. 817-501-0798
