About Mason

Mason is a 7yr Mini Australian Shepard. Mason is a wonderful Family Pet, as we have had him since 8 wks old. He is social, but does take a adjustment to get use to new people, would be better around older children. has been around other dogs, but is timid and protective, better with dogs of same size or bigger. Mason is very loving, Mostly Quiet & slightly listens. Mason is ok in cars while traveling. He has had basic training and will sit, shake, paw, etc. . But also feels very protective. Mason has just become very dominate & we can not break him with training. When Iean dominate, like alpha dog, but he is the only dog . We have had him around others dogs, as he live with my parents and sister for a while, and they have dogs that are slightly bigger then him and he cowards to them. We have trained him some, normal sit, stay, shake ,but he charges for the door and we can't figure out why he does his and how to break the habit. He is good on walks, does pull/tug a little but over all does good, madon does live currently in a complex where he is walked 3x daily and is surrounded by other dogs and smells. He will some times bark and grawl at other dogs, but usually with a stay or leave it command he is good. He is deffantly not good with small dogs. He recently went aftwr one, got out of his harness and ran towards it, but thankfully nothing happened. He is on 20 MG Prozac 1x a day, as the vet felt this would help with what we told him of what was going on.�%A0
