About Gracie

My name is Gracie and I admit I am a bit spoiled. My favorite place is in my foster mom's arms. I love to be held and cuddled. I'm a tiny Chihuahua at just 3.7 pounds and I'm 12 years old. I do great with other small dogs and don't mind cats. I need a new home because my former owner was a hoarder, she fell and hurt herself and the conditions in her home were not safe for her or me to return to. I want a quiet, calm home that understands I'm little and need to be protected from things that will eat me, like big dogs and eagles hunting. My new people need to understand I'm tiny. I'm cold twelve months of the year. I require blankets, lots of them. Everywhere I like to lay there should be one. Burrowing under them and staying warm is always my goal. I take lots of naps, you have to be careful not to sit on me because I do burrow under the blankets. At night I sleep in a dog bed or a kennel. I'm old, sometimes I have accidents in my sleep. The good thing is I don't mind wearing a diaper. I eat tiny dog dry kibble mixed with canned food for my meals. If you are eating something I like (scrambled eggs, toast, chicken) I'm not above barking to get your attention until you give me some. Gracie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, microchipped and just had a dental.
