About Koda

Koda is 3/4 Siberian husky 1/4 German Shepherd. 9 mos old ( DOB 10-13-2019 ) He is shy at first and a little skiddish. He is about 90 lbs. Is good with dogs, cats , older kids, unknown with small children I think he would be ok but may knock them over, good with all adults, although he seems to prefer women but is ok with men too, may knock over an elderly or unbalanced individual because of his size. Koda has never retaliated when another animal has been aggressive towards him. But it does scare him. And he seems to wonder why the other animal is in a bad mood. He has a very sweet and friendly character. Loves to cuddle and snuggle. He is loving and loveable. He does not like to be alone or in the dark. He doesn't counter surf but has been known to once in a while. He will howl in his crate if it is dark and he thinks he is alone or if he has to go out. Koda rides very well. He minds fairly well. He will sit, he shake hands then other paw, he walks on a leash very well .. hasn't pulled. Koda is very laid back, easy going kinda of guy. We have not yet seen him be zooming around crazy Over excited. He could easily jump a section of our fence but hasn't. We are re-homing Koda because of 2 of our own dogs have decided to be very territorial with Koda ( we have 3 and a cat ). Koda has done nothing to provoke this. We have been fostering Koda for 3 months but have known him since he was about 8 weeks old. Previous owner can no longer care for Koda due to job and living arrangements. Honestly we would love to have Koda ourselves and have enjoyed him so much but 2 of our dogs won't accept him through no fault of Koda's whatsoever.
