About Baloo

Baloo is one of the most loving companions you'll ever get to meet. He is a 3 year old, 35 lbs Australian shepherd, pomeranian, lab mix. He loves just about every person he has ever met. He is happiest when he is next to his human, and is perfectly content being able to sit there and hug you. He likes to walk on his back 2 legs (just like Baloo in the jungle book!) and he loves to play fetch. He is crate trained, but prefers to snuggle up to you in bed. Baloo does need to be an only dog. Due to him loving his humans so much, he has a hard time sharing and has gotten into some bad fights with his brother and sister, which have gotten worse recently. Due to the stress of his siblings, he has been marking recently so he has been wearing belly bands, but I do truly think that will stop if he is an only dog and doesn't feel his territory being threatened. He did have a chewing problem as a puppy, but that has gotten a lot better with age, although he does enjoy the occasional pair of underwear lol! He has not had enough experience with small children, so it would probably be safer for him to be in a home with children over the age of 6 or 7. He would be an amazing addition to the right family.
