About Bucky

Bucky is a fantastic buddy to have if you want a healthy and relaxed senior dog for company. Has never had health issues considering his 12 years of age at 60 lbs. his diet must be grain free with salmon and sweet potato. Bucky is perfectly potty trained and does not like a crate, he has always slept closest to the front door or window to keep guard like a good boy. At first when left alone he may have separation anxiety but will relax once he realizes it's his home. Bucky lives for fishing, the beach, hiking, car rides with windows down, boat rides, you name it. He will also be perfectly happy on a cozy bed in the corner of the living room guarding the house from bad guys like the mail man. Bucky is excellent on the leash for walks. Does not have food aggression and will always take treats gently. He is a sweet boy around small and large dogs. And he's never bitten a cat, only barked at them. He is very good at the vet always too. However he does have a fear of rainstorms with thunder and lightning so he will want to snuggle up with you in bed on those nights. It breaks our hearts that we don't know anyone within the family that can take him so we would hope that whoever does take him could remain in contact with us to let us know how he does.
