Lacy is a 1 year old pointer mix weighing 33 pounds. Don't let her size fool you. She thinks she is a lap dog and will sit on your lap and give kisses. She was rescued from a high kill shelter when her time was up. She appears to like kids but has not been cat tested. She gets along well with the other dogs and loves people. She was just diagnosed with Lyme disease which is treatable with antibiotics and the follow up care is just monthly flea/tick treatment which is a requirement for approved adoptions. The rescue is paying for the treatment. Please don't overlook this sweet girl because of this. Her adoption donation is $300 which includes her spay, vaccinations, microchip, Lyme disease treatment. She is heartworm negative and on monthly preventative. She can be adopted now as she goes through the treatment. http://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/Project/lacy/ We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida. We have a page on our website that explains our adoption process, and contains a link to our adoption application. Here is the link: http://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/adoption-information-2/
