About Milo

Please allow me to introduce myself...my name is Milo!!! My Mom also calls me 'Pretty Boy', but don't tell anybody!!! I'm probably around 2 -3 yrs old and weigh about 70#. I'm a mixed breed boy and as you can see from my gorgeous picture, I have a white blaze, white tipped tail, white chest and 4 white paws! I'm up to date on my shots and heart worm negative. If you are looking for a 'sidekick' then I'm your boy!! My Mom rehomed me last fall from someone who did not have my best interests at heart and would let me roam without any ID. I think what really caught her attention was the way I curl up my lip and grin if I think I might be in trouble!!! Maybe it's just my boyish charm!! Boy...did I hit the jackpot with my new owner. I'm living the cushy life with 2 squares a day, several plush dog beds to choose from, a basket of chew toys, a fenced yard where I can play and run and chase all the squirrels...I almost caught one! I love when the grandkids (10 & 13) come over and we play outside!! My Mom says I would be better suited to be the only dog in the house as I like a lot of attention! I like to think of myself as a 'companion dog' as I am very attentive to my owner and like to keep tabs on them. I may go off to the other room, but I will come check on my owner quite frequently!! I love to put my front paws in your lap, stretch my neck back and let you rub under my throat and chest!! It feels so good!!! I am very smart and eager to learn! I know my basic commands of sit, stay, lay, down and if you will work with me we have a great future together!!! I need a home where I'm the only 'star' (no other dogs or cats to steal my thunder) and my owner is home most of the day. If you work from home that would be ideal!! I would love to go for walks or hikes and be more active. My Mom loves me dearly but is not able to do these things. I get really excited sometimes but we're working on this.
