About Louie

This handsome boy is Louie, a purebred Australian Cattledog. He is 3 years old and about 60 pounds. He does have a docked tail. With a bit more exercise, he will slim down, maybe to 50-55 pounds. Louie is loved but unforeseen circumstances lead to him needing a home through no fault of his own. Louie knows his basic commands. He is house and crate trained. Louie is good on leash and good in the car. He is a good boy at the beach and can be off leash once you have a good bond. He loves water, too. Louie is a wonderful adventure pal. Louie is good with dogs his size and larger. He has a tendency to scuffle with small dogs so small dogs are a definite no. He likely won't be okay with cats either. Oh, and squirrels are something he thinks are for chasing. Louie is a typical Cattledog. He needs a polite introduction to strangers, so no kids for Louie. He can also be leash reactive so will need work with that. Louie is a loyal boy who needs a home that keeps him busy. He also asks for a home that will play lots of fetch. He loves fetch. Louie neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. He is located in San Diego, Ca. We do not ship our dogs. He is available for a meeting and adoption in SoCal. A home visit and vet reference are required.
