BOOTS: PROS: Is one of the best dogs weve ever fostered. He should have been adopted already!! He was the one from Texas that literally spent his entire life chained up in a yard with his sister. For a dog with his back ground hes come so far so fast. Hes a gentle giant. He doesnt bark. Hes walking like a perfect gentleman on a leash. He doesnt chew stuff or go potty in the house. He was really under weight but is filling out so nicely. And hes so loving. He really is a giant teddy bear. In fact love is all he wants. Hes learned 5 basic commands without treats. Hed rather have cuddles. He loves kids and is very gentle and protective of all ages. Strangers dont even phase him. No food aggression. CONS: He hates cats. He can not be let off the leash AT ALL!! He cleared out 9 foot fence in a single jump. Baby gates are pointless because he goes right over them. Hes not a runner per se. When he jumped the fence, he literally went to my neighbors looking for her to come give him some attention. He can be a little protective with other males. He can be the karen during playtime. Meaning if the others play to rough he will bark at them to get them to stop.
