They have now reached out to Fuzzy Pawz to help him find a home that will love and adore him. This boy has a great temperament and is quite the cuddler! But be warned as he is a leaner (as most Danes are) and he does believe he is a lap dog. Oakley enjoys hikes, walks, loves fetch and does pretty well with it. He loves to play in the sprinklers and really enjoys all water. He is great with a schedule and enjoys naps throughout the day but he does need daily exercise. His energy level is pretty calm and one walk a day with ample outside time and playing fetch is perfect for him. Oakley knows all his basic commands and is house trained. He would be an amazing addition to any fairly active family that has no kids under 15. The down side is that Oakley must be the only pet in the home as he is aggressive to other dogs. He has attacked other dogs in his foster home and is very food aggressive with other dogs. Mostly he is fine when out on walks but he should be kept away from small yappy dogs when out on leash (he hates little dogs). Oakley does have to be on Bravecto for life to keep him from having a flare up of his skin. mange if he doesn't. This boy is not for the inexperienced dog owner - he will need someone that is savvy with giant breeds. He eats 4 cups of dog food a day so he's not cheap to have as a pet. And he must have a home with a 6' fenced yard.
