Name: Ray Age: Unknown Breed: Hound Mix Sex: Male (not neutered) Location: Mobile County, AL Vet Info: Ray is not neutered and is not current with vaccines. He is heartworm positive and his Good Samaritan tells us he's been on medication for about a week. Ray seems to be partially blind, and his Good Samaritan says it appears he has cataracts. He weighs about 20 pounds, but she tells us he is very skinny, and she's working on putting weight on. Owner Info: Ray is a very sweet fellow who showed up in someone's yard. She tells us he was in very poor condition. She has been unable to find his owner and is doing her best to help him find a new loving home. Ray is an outdoor dog with a fenced yard. He is not housebroken or leash trained. Ray is a very sweet fellow and has shown no aggression towards his Good Samaritan or her two dogs. He has not been around small children or men yet, but she says he's been great so far! He is not possessive of toys, treats, or food. Ray's Good Samaritan feels he adapts well to new situations and writes, 'He has been able to figure his way around quite well. He seems to be shy at first in new places, but has not been aggressive.' She also gave us more information about his personality: 'He has seemed pretty calm so far. He gets excited when someone comes home and wants to jump, and he plays and runs around with the dogs. But other than that he hasn't been very energetic. He didn't bark for the longest time or make a sound. He's been a great dog, I'm pretty sure he was an outside dog and probably needs inside training.' She wants us to know what a sweetheart he is! 'Ray has been the sweetest dog. Considering all that he's possibly been through, he still runs to greet me when I arrive at home. He needs some TLC badly, but he is beautiful and sweet. I just want him to have a chance at a better life and with someone that can care for him all around. Thank you so much for helping out.' **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
