About Selene

MEET SELENE! This stunning 7-year old German Shepherd female comes to us from the Forsyth County Animal Shelter. Selene is a gentle and sweet lady that is looking for a quieter home without all the craziness that is here at the rescue. Selene does well with other dogs and all people. She rides well in the car, does well on a leash and is house trained and crate trained. She LOVES squeaky toys and will carry them around with her. The noisy environment here keeps her a bit stressed (15 dogs tend to do that to some dogs) and would do well in a home that isn't so loud and busy. Selene does have what we believe to be Vestibular Syndrome which has given her a bit of a head tilt and thrown her balance off a bit from time to time. There are no treatments for this syndrome. It is not life threatening and will not cause her health to decline. Selene is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, on flea/tick/heartworm preventions and will be spayed prior to adoptions.
