JoJo is a five-year-old, gentle, loving, easy to walk, 52-pound, female seal-colored pit bull terrier-mix with white markings looking for a loving guardian. JoJo is incredibly loyal to her people. When her foster mom visits her folks who live on 22 acres in the country, JoJo walks right by their side without a leash. She's not much of a city girl. She'd love to trade in her current condo foster life to a suburban home with a yard, or country living. But, she prefers to be the one and only dog in the home, and she hops easily over a four-foot-fence, if left unattended. She is not a doggie daycare or dog park dog. She just loves her people and knows all her commands: sit, down, paw, other paw '| She aims to please. She's cuddly and lovable. She came to Friends of Petraits Rescue from a shelter in Salem, Illinois. She is housebroken and gets along with people of all ages. She walks beautifully with her gentle leader head harness. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. She is very healthy, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated for rabies and bordetella, heartworm-tested and on monthly heartworm preventative. To meet and possibly adopt JoJo, please e-mail [email protected] for an adoption application. She is currently being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
