About Joey

This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN, $150 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. This little Joey is a 10-pound pint-sized peanut! He is a mature Chihuahua, 10 years of age (or older), with such a sweet charm. Joey is timid in new environments and with new people, but once he feels comfortable that you mean no harm, he's good. Joey enjoys sitting out on the deck with his foster family, and looking out onto the yard in the evenings. He would make a fantastic fit for a retiree home who enjoys the laid back life of relaxation, no hustle and bustle for him, please. Joey gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, but prefers no kids. He is a homebody and is content to snooze most of the time. Joey does sleep soundly in his crate at night, and after adjusting to the new routine he has been housetrained. Joey loves food and will sometimes like to chew a bone. His favorite part of the day is cuddling, whether that be on the couch with you while its raining, watching a movie, or out on the patio watching the sun drift out of the sky. Joey tends to be more partial to women than men, and he seems to choose 'his' person. Joey is doing well for his age and has had dental work done recently.
