About Gemma

Gemma has been my BFF for the last 5 years. I have always known she is territorial and protective of her home and me. I have always had more than one dog, so decided to try bringing one in. Everything was awesome for about 6 months, then it changed. I witnessed her kill the other dog and reason rehoming is I was unable to stop it. I take responsibility for my part and it breaks my heart. I am planning to keep her here until the perfect person looking for a one dog companion comes along. A kennel is not an option. Tried once when went on vacation and was a nightmare. Gemma comes from a place of being left in a back yard rain or shine with no attention. She had not had vaccines and was not spayed. She figured out how to jump fence and neighbors asked if they could find her a home and that is where I can in. We have camped, she loves car rides and pays no attention to people or other dogs when left in car. When walking, she pays no attention to other dogs unless they come towards her aggressively. I have bar on my bike and we ride until she runs out of breath due to short snout. Not long distance tolerant. Will love u unconditionally l, even try to sit on your lap! Please only serious inquiries with the desire to have a one dog companion and give her lots of love. My prayer would be I can possibly rebound after such a traumatic event it is a struggle right now.
