About Comet

Comet is a very loyal loving dog with a very cute personality. He's past the part of the puppy phase where he destroys anything now so he's generally very calm. Does well on walks with head collar and enjoys trips to the mountains and going anywhere with us in the car. He can hop a fence that's not 6 feet tall. His barking has been Easily controlled with the sound bark collar. We had an intruder in our house about three months ago and the cops were called and he wasn't able to get to us to defend us so he has now since then felt like he's had to protect us from anybody that walks in our house, including our older kids and grandkids. He has warning bitten a couple of people now and just broke the skin a little bit recently when an extended family member just walked into our house without knocking or anything. We love him so much and he is such a calm dog otherwise and was not so protective before this incident.. I have been having to have several surgeries on my ankle and have had to have lots of people coming in our house so as much as it kills me and our kids we feel that he would be better in a home with large acreage and able to do his job of guarding his people like he was bred to do or in a home that is able to train him. We love him very much and we want a very loving home for him and only want to find him a home with somebody who really wants to love him and are in a position to give him training because he is such a goofy and amazing dog.
