About Theo

eo is being fostered in Vero Beach, FL (Indian River County). Theo is around one year old, 30 lbs. heeler mix. Theo is shy and reserved at first until he gets to know you. But once he gets to know you (which doesn't take long), he's all 'in' and loves to give and get love. Theo is learning manners and now knows how to sit and wait. He also takes direction well, is very eager to please, and is very food motivated. Theo lives in a home with several other well-adjusted, playful dogs and does very well with them. He loves going on walks, playing with toys and watching squirrels. A fenced yard would be best for him as he loves to try to catch lizards and watch squirrels and when he gets his 'zoomies' loves to run around out back. Theo has a 10-year old human foster sister who he adores; Theo would do well with 10 year old and above respectful children. He will need to continue to socialize with other dogs so another well-balanced, active dog in the home is a MUST for him. Sometimes loud noises or sudden hand movements scare Theo.
