About Tesha

When poor Tesha arrived at the shelter she was severely under weight with sores/crusty nasty all over her back. After a little over a week in the shelter, she is looking so much better. Her sores are healing and she is gaining weight even though she needs more. It's hard to tell in the pictures, but Tesha only has one eye. Not sure what happened, but it doesn't affect her one bit. She is happy, spunky, and full of energy. She didn't seem to care for the other dogs, but it could be that she was over stimulated. Shelter life takes some adjusting. She was scared of the hissing ferals in the kennels. Tesha had an owner at some point in her life because she knew the sit command. Tesha is ready to find a new family to care for her. Is that you? Teshais currently a resident at Vermilion Parish Animal Control. She will be vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped upon placement in an adoptive or foster home.
