Wants her phone but it's so far away. Can't adult today. Has never worked. Loves salad, hates her husband. She was the victim of a dog attack in January and is now partially paralyzed. When she came to rescue we had her examined immediately and she had urine scalding and a bladder infection but with daily expressing, she is doing great! She has movement in her back legs but loses feeling in her lower legs making walking a recovery process for her. She may never walk again on her own but she does have movement there and the X-rays will tell us more. She has a tiny wheelchair she is learning to use too and getting more and more confident in it. Yemma has the softest little bark EVER. She is so sweet. She is sassy too! She can be growls with dogs at first but once she knows they won't hurt her, she is fine. While we are at work, she stays in a little kiddie pool and does great in it. Maybe someday she will be able to jump out. We can hope! She may be special needs but that is what makes her perfect in our eyes. They all deserve a chance. Yemma is happy, loving, and sassy to the core. Her ideal home would have a mom or dad who carries her up stairs if needed, will continue her physical exercises, continue with her chair confidence and have a little girl or boy who wants to sleep with her at night. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. IF A YARD IS PRESENT, A SECURE FENCE IS MANDATORY.
