About Mikey (Special Needs)

Poor little Mikey! One Sunday afternoon we got a call from the sheriff that they had a kitten that had been hit by a truck and could we get it to a vet? So, I called our vet and met the officer who handed me a small box with a tiny little guy wrapped in a bloody sheet. Turns out the truck had run over his tail and tore it off! By the time we got to the vet clinic, he was awake and trying to climb out of the box, and pretty outraged by all this! Doc repaired his injury, neutered him, gave him a rabies shot and we picked him up the next day. He does have some nerve damage on his back end, which will probably resolve itself after some time but may be a lifelong thing. This spunky little guy won't let that stop him. He is active and playful and a little love bug. He is up to date on his vaccines, Feline Leukemia tested negative, dewormed, on flea preventative and microchipped.
