About Ariel

Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Miss Ariel came to us last early summer very much in the Family Way. Shy and reserved, she preferred little cave-like nests, such as a box set on its side, or a bed under a chair in the corner. She chose the cubby hole under an end table for her maternity ward, and efficiently delivered 6 beautiful little babies while we were cleaning rooms one morning. A few weeks later, she was given 2 more orphaned babies, and yet another one a few days after that. She bravely took in those extra babies and raised them as her own. Ariel had an extreme ear mite infection at some time that her ears developed hematomas and are now shriveled and misshapen. But they have been treated and don't bother her at all. She is such a quiet, sweet girl, and would love a quiet home where she can blossom into her true self. She's a bit of a loner since she is shy, so she would probably do well as an only cat. That doesn't mean she doesn't want attention, though! She loves to be petted and will probably become a nice lap cat once she warms up to her new home. Ariel was born around October, 2017 and is still a young cat. She is done with her job of being a mom. Ariel is spayed, up to date on vaccines, has been given dewormer, flea treated, tested Negative for Feline Leukemia, and microchipped.
