About Aladdin

Aladdin is a 30 lb collie/terrier mix (our best guess). He is intelligent and high energy. He is extremely loving and good with our family and teenage children. He was rescued at 1 year old and served as a emotional support dog for our daughter during a tough time. He showed some aggression when rescued. We had extensive training completed on him with a professional trainer to improve his behavior. Unfortunately, our daughter is off to college and Aladdin isn't compatible with our other male dog. We are seeking an energetic passionate 'dog person' or couple to adopt Aladdin. We do not believe he should be placed in a home with young children. Our trainer is recommending a large fenced in yard as Aladdin has lots of energy. We have worked Aladdin extensively with a trainer and he will work with the adopter to acclimate Aladdin. We are sad to have to rehome Aladdin, however, because our other dog's incompatibility and a change in jobs requiring me to travel, we believe he deserves a home that can provide him more attention.
