About Double Dutch

'Are you looking for a totally adorable, petite kitty to join your family? Well, your search ends today because I'm ready to get out of the shelter and start learning how to enjoy the finer things in life. My name is Double Dutch and I'm a 1-2 year old kitty. I came to SVASC after being surrender as part of a large hoarding case. I came in with around 30 other kitties. All of the kitties from my home were in rough shape, but I am one of the kitties that felt the worst; I am itty bitty at about 5lbs currently, but am still putting on weight. Thanks to the dedicated staff at SVASC, I am starting to feel better. I am a little shy because I wasn't handled too much in my previous home, so I may take some time to come around to new folks; take things slow and I'll warm up! Since I can be a tad bit shy, I may need some extra time to adjust to my new home; ask SVASC for tips on helping me acclimate to my new home. I previously lived with several other cats and seem happiest when I have a buddy; I would do best in a home with another confident kitty that would be able to help me come around some, though it's not a requirement. I did previously live with dogs and kids, so I may be okay trying that out again, as long as they are calmer. My adoption fee is $35 to an approved adopter.
