COURTESY POSTING. Please contact Grayson Welch, 903-203-8424, [email protected]. They were going to leave by July 24, 2020, but were able to postpone for two weeks, and need new homes for Chester and Grace before they leave. From Grayson: 'We are in a desperate situation that is forcing us to find homes for Chester and Grace. My wife and I are both on disability, and have to go out of state for extended medical treatment. We don't have a way or the means to take them with us. We are traveling to the Duke University Hospital system for extended care. Grace is a German Shepherd approximately 60 pounds. She is about 8 years old. She was dropped off as a rescue, and is current on her heartworm preventative. She is not spayed, and has always had an outside kennel and run while with us. She listens well, but is very high energy. While she gets along with other dogs, she is generally the alpha dog.'
