About Benji

Benji here has been a wonderful companion and family pet for the last 5 years across three different states. We received him from another family (in Alaska) who told us that he was a rescue and abused as a pup. (Men with hats and sunglasses scares him). He is affectionate and loves to fetch and go on walks. We raised him in a home with two girls (now 4&8) and two other dogs (Australian Shepperd & mini dashound. When it just him he is very loving and affectionate and as mentioned loves to play fetch and go on long walk. He makes a great cuddlier and very protective of our girls (he would not settle unless he knows the girls are in bed and safe.) He does get food aggressive towards other dogs and anyone when it comes to food. We are a military family and unfortunately are making the tough decision of rehoming him. His anxiousness and anxiety with food makes it for a nervous environment for our kids. A home where he is the only dog with no kids (or older teens) will be better suited for him. He is family to us and we want to find him the best possible home for him
