About June

June is a rescue dog who originally hails from Oklahoma. She has been with us for 2.5 years and was about a year old when adopted. June is smart, energetic, and very affectionate. She is also nervous and reactive. She has a bite history, has twice gotten the hands of adult males, one time causing injury. That episode has gotten her declared potentially dangerous, thus she is required wear a muzzle and a short leash when walking. She needs lots of attention and serious training that i haven't provided. My flimsy excuse is that i work too much and travel too much. I picture an ideal home for her to be rural, maybe with another dog, definitely with a human with time and love to give her, hopefully the training i skimped on to. Not in a hurry, i want her to have her best life and don't think it is here.
