Bandit is 10 months (birthday in Sept) and is a sweetheart He's grown up with my German Shepherd and is wonderful with other dogs. No exposure to cats aside from in PetSmart. Has completed basic puppy obedience and is currently enrolled in intermediate training - has potential to be a fantastic therapy dog! He's wonderful with kids and thrives on human attention. We've traveled with him - great in the car, hotels, public outings, etc... Up for adoption to a FOREVER home only because our lifestyle is too active for a giant breed and I want him to have to best quality of life. He's been evaluated by an orthopedic veterinarian and diagnosed with shoulder OCD, which is a congenital issue where a flap of cartilage in the shoulder joint becomes detached and rubs, causing pain. The good news is it's 100% curable with surgery. Without surgery it can be managed by weight management, supplements/pain meds and low-impact exercise. Either way, he'd be a great companion for a family with a less active lifestyle and/or an older dog!
