About Zoey

Zoey and her friend Mia need help - they have been sitting in a Texas home eating and eating and eating some more. They are severely overweight and need to find a couple of families that will take them on walks and help them lose some weight. Mia and Zoey do not need to stay together, they need to find fun and athletic families that will take them for walks and exercise them in the yard. Zoey is about 7 years old and weighs about 18 lbs but is a huge snuggle bug who unfortunately was given way too much freedom with the food bowl. She will be checked out by a doctor and have some blood work done before she is adopted out - we want to make sure there is nothing physically wrong with her. Zoey will also need a family that is willing to put her on a diet and help her lose weight. She is an abused dog, she was given way too much food and left to sit in a house to get bigger and bigger. She will need someone who is willing to put some time into her and help her - she would make a great walking partner. Zoey gets along with other dogs and kids as well. She is a sweetheart who would love to be slimmer and be able run and walk without the limitations she has now.
