About Mia

Mia and her friend Zoey need help - they have been sitting in a Texas home eating and eating and eating some more. They are severely overweight and need to find a couple of families that will take them on walks and help them lose some weight. Mia and Zoey do not need to stay together, they just need to find fun and athletic families that will take them for walks and exercise them in the yard. Mia is about 4-5 years young and super sweet. She used to love to go on walks and play, but finds it way too difficult now. Mia will be checked out by a doctor and have some blood work done before she is adopted out - we want to make sure there is nothing physically wrong with her. She will also need a family that is willing to put her on a diet and help her lose weight. Mia is an abused dog, she was not cared for and given way too much food and left to sit in a house to get bigger and bigger. She will need someone who will have some patience with her and help her - she would make a great weight management partner. Mia gets along with other dogs and kids as well. She is such a sweetheart who would love to be slimmer and be able run and walk without limits.
